I recently received some great new skincare products from the Melvita press office.
I have tested The Orange Blossom Floral Water, it’s in a handy spray. The scent of delicate orange blossom is exquisite it is a great toner to refresh the skin. Orange scented flower water is a traditional toner which I have found in the Northern Africa markets, France, Italy etc… The other classic toner is Eau de Rose, a rose scented toner. Melvita is a certified Organic french brand that was created in the 70’s in the Ardeche area (northern Provence). As a french kid I remember their octagonal shaped honey soaps been sold in health stores and pharmacies, “organic” cosmetic products were pretty rare in these days! Nowadays Melvita has a large range of skincare, very popular brand in France and gaining a strong following in the UK.
The Apicosma Skin softening nourishing body milk is the other product I have just tested. The Apicosma range is using honey’s fantastic properties for the skin. It contains 3 different honeys, so it is great if you like that sweet scent but not so wonderful if you are not a honey fan.
It felt rich and moisturing when I tried it on. I have very dry hands, having to wash them a lot in between models and it made my skin look plump and soft without been too sticky.
Having past the test, both products are firm favourites in my work skincare and makeup kit.
