After reading about an article on good value makeup brand I decided to buy and test some MUA products. I have been so impressed by them that I decided to write and recommend them. I have been using the waterproof black eye-liner. I usually use Eyeko or Bobbi Brown but for the £ 1.00 price tag I think the MUA offering is great, the tip is thin, flexible and precise and very easy to use, the colour is very dark and glides on easily and precisely. It is perfect for a very thin line above the lashes to make them appear thicker or for a strong defined cat flick look. At that price you cannot fault it!
I have bought some eye palettes and I love the colours and the soft texture of the eye shadows. Of course the packaging is simple and feels a little flimsy but at £4.00 for 12 shades you are not going to get a premium case. The first palette I used is called “Undressed” and it is a mixture of matt and sparkly shades. They mix beautifully and I like the nude beige shades. There are lovely soft browns, a beautiful mid-tone blue grey and a darker blue grey.
There are also good highlighting colours. I was also very impressed by the “Heaven and Earth” palette and the “Smokin palette”. The Heaven and Earth are a fab selection of beige, light, warm and dark brown and gold. All the shades mix beautifully. The “Smokin” palette has 3 excellent brown shades, one very dark colour and two highlighter tones, there is a nice violet, a outremer blue, a pretty dark green and a rich grey shade. The “Smokin” palette include a black kohl eye-pencil and cost £6.00.
These palette are truly fantastic value and would make nice stocking fillers! Well done MUA and thank you for these great value gorgeous colours.
