Bourjois Contour Clubbing Eyeliner
Believe me, these eyeliners are brilliant. Application is a doodle as the texture of the pencil is very soft. The colour can be smudged for a softer finish or applied in a strong and defined line. My favourite colours are “Ultra black No.54”, a rich dense black and the warm taupe colour “Taupe Top”.
They can be used together, with one tone smudged for a soft band of colour and then adding a stronger line for extra definition and shape.
Once applied they set quite quickly and have excellent lasting power as they are waterproof. Waterproof eye make-up remover is recommended but I found that any decent quality remover will work.
There are currently 6 colours: two blacks, two browns, one purple and one green. The vivid green aptly named ‘Loving green” and the slightly metallic purple “Purple night” can be used in many creative ways, for a bold statement look.
I have used these for months now, in my own makeup bag and in my professional kit and I love them. I used the ultra black shade to create this strong and classy look for Pateys (they make amazing hats for the Queen and are one of the oldest hat makers in the UK) photo shoot just a couple of weeks ago. Lovely !
