On my wanted list there are so many things…
First I would love to upgrade my old antique Mac case but I haven’t found anything that would fit my requirements or my budget yet so I guess I will carry on using the old metal box for a while. I need a need a new wheelie large case for all the hairdressing stuff I need to log around, plus the many slightly strange things that can be found in a professional makeup and hair artist kit…I think I might do a whole post about it one day but that is definitely another story !
Right now I would love a few items from Charlotte Tilbury’s make-up and skincare collection. I must admit I was tempted when I saw her ever expanding range in Selfridges a while back…Anyway I would probably get a few bits and bobs to test. First for myself and a few special clients, (wrong, all my clients are special), I would buy her magic cream to see just how much magic there is in it and at £ 70.00 a pot I would really hope there is plenty. I would want to see seriously good results and yes my skin needs as much “freaking magic” as possible….
Next is Charlotte’s “Retoucher” £ 25.00 just to see how it compares with old favourites like YSL Touche D’Eclat or the excellent Clinique airbrush concealor. Then I would get a few of her lipsticks. At £ 23.00 they are not cheap but the golden ridged case is pure old fashion glamour and feels luxurious. Her lipsticks have a great texture, are pigment rich, the colour range is small but pretty good and I like some of the amusing names. My favourites are “Nude Kate” a gorgeous beige pinky nude shade, “Bitch Perfect” a pinky nude and “Night Crimson” a deep dark purply shade.
Of course my wanted list is endless and I constantly want to try new stuff, get new brushes, try lots of new colours and have fresh, exciting new products to play with… So, briefly, there is my little list : Every Chanel foundation and powders, I would need a big posh case just for them, just because you just cannot beat Chanel chic make-up packaging and the content is very lovely too ( actually the whole makeup and skincare range would be best… ).
As many Bobby Brown stuff as I could hold with my two arms. Makeup forever make-up ( the entire range again), then a £ 1000 gift voucher from Screenface.
I must stop right here as it is time for me to end my silly dreaming of having a zillion different products, after all I would need is a big new room to store it all or maybe just a girly make-up shed in the garden with one final addition, an Ab Fab style chilled bottle of Champagne in a little bespoke fridge placed there to keep all the cosmetics cool ?
