The weather forecast is good and we are in Pimlico at our shoot base, getting ready for a photo session in the busy touristy parts of London as early as possible in the morning. The plan is to get there with our two models Ursula and Sebastien, our stylist and assistant, myself and photographer Jutta before hundred’s of tourists’s invasion… First location is a cute Cafe near our base. All good and it’s time to move on. We all jumped in black cabs and arrive near Buckingham Palace. We find our spot and get going. So far all going pretty well ! St James Park is next. We position our models on a sweet little bridge and there things get pretty busy and hectic as tourists are everywhere, armed with their cameras, smart phones, Ipad and taking photos of everything and anything, including us. We cover several other locations, including Jermyn Street, home of so many very British “dandyish” men outfitters shops and the most famous cheese shop in London, cheese purveyor to her majesty, such glamour! The Mall, where a massive group of “Bieberettes” are screaming their love for their idol in a weird kind of spontaneous “happening”. At the bottom of Regent’s Street we find a pretty colourful ice-cream van which offers the perfect background for our couple. That’s it, we call it a day, and Jutta has shot around a 1000 pictures. Next there will be a careful edit and retouching before delivering great photographs featuring some very alluring parts of London.
