Bourjois summer party
As you probably know by now, I grew up in France and one of the first make-up I owned was a “clever little round box” blusher from Bourjois. I have always like the brand and still use plenty of their products at work and for myself. So I was very pleased to be invited to a lovely Bourjois Summer party last week.
The party took place on a great roof terrace in the heart of London, accessorised for the occasion with an impressive chocolate fountain, yummy cocktails, delicious food, and lots of make-up to discover.
I was showed the lush new summer colours and products by Clare from Bourjois and I will review some of my favourite discoveries in another post. I really enjoyed the nail colours collection ( great selection, clever speedy drying and ultra shiny too ). Sadly I was too busy chatting and missed the opportunity to have a manicure from the nail artists… There was some some “kiss and tell” action, after kissing a card with a chosen shade from the new Rouge Edition Velvet colour collection ( I chose a dark pink shade ) and the “Lipstick gypsy” spoke to me about my future…
I left with a pretty goody bag which was almost immediately snatched on my return by my 14 year old daughter ( I got it back pronto ) but I had to make her promise not to try the products till I photograph them for my reviewing, better watch out as she is bound to start her very own make-up blog soon !!
